Ski- & Snowboard-Service Workshop

Ski- & Snowboard-Service Workshop

Learn how to service your own Skis & Snowboard

A great day on the slopes starts long before you reach the ski lift—it begins with properly prepared equipment. Freshly waxed skis or snowboards glide more smoothly, while sharp, well-maintained edges provide better grip and control, especially on icy morning runs. Regular ski and snowboard maintenance not only improves your performance on the mountain but also enhances your safety. With the right techniques, you can carry out many service tasks yourself and save money season after season.

In our Ski & Snowboard Service Workshop, you’ll learn how to assess the condition of your skis or snowboard and determine when professional servicing is necessary—and when you can confidently perform the maintenance yourself.

We cover the essential principles of ski and snowboard maintenance, explain the most important terminology, and provide an easy-to-follow introduction to tuning techniques. Step by step, you’ll learn how to remove burrs, sharpen edges, repair minor base damage, and apply wax correctly using the right methods. We’ll also introduce you to the essential tools and equipment you’ll need for servicing your gear at home.

The best part? These skills will benefit you throughout the entire winter season—not just before your first day on the snow. You’ll be able to perform routine maintenance whenever needed, keeping your skis or snowboard in top condition all season long. The result is better performance, improved edge grip, increased safety, and more fun on every run.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll understand the fundamentals of ski and snowboard maintenance and have the confidence to keep your equipment in peak condition. Start the winter season with perfectly tuned gear and enjoy every day on the mountain to the fullest.
